This weeks wedding update is sponsored by Tobi and this adorable blush co-ord.
Believe it or not this is my first ‘official’ co-ord and let’s just say I’m obsessed! It cuts my getting ready time down significantly and it’s perfect for the mild summer weather in Philadelphia (also known as a heat wave in London). I love the off the shoulder ties, it makes the set feel more fancy without losing the ultra comfy fit. The blush tones are perfect for summer and *hint hint* match with our wedding palette, so it’s the perfect pair for this weeks wedding update.
With the wedding just 10 days away, we’re en route to the beach to relax and unwind for a couple days before all the craziness starts because family and guests are starting to arrive this Saturday!! Since we’re taking a few days off, the last few weeks were busy, busy – although we did find time to have a day at the zoo with my nieces and nephews as well as a country boil with my family on Monday. So I guess it hasn’t been all work and no play.
We had our final walk through, which was slightly disappointing as I had to change my vision for the reception because the tables I ordered are a little bigger than I thought – whoops! But we figured out a good Plan B and even though it meant we spent hours re-doing the seating chart, it’s back in good shape and I’m happy (if not stressed out) with it now. On a different note, I got to try on my wedding dress with all it’s alterations and accessories and I literately didn’t want to take it off. I was spinning and playing with it and couldn’t stop smiling as I thanked the seamstress a million times for doing everything so quickly and with only a single fitting!! She’s a miracle worker.
After a big day at the outlets – where I wore this cutie co-ord for the first time and got SO many compliments – we officially checked off all the bridal party gifts, the groomsmen’s ties, Rich’s wedding shoes and a few other littler things that had been floating about on my to-do list. After a crazy last week I only have four things left on my list! And it feels SO GOOD!!!
Time to reward myself with some long naps in the sun…
P.S. The top runs a little big – especially with no boobs to hold it up 😉 so I would suggest sizing down. Shorts are high waisted so factor that in, I wish I sized down because mine are a little loose in the waist – not that it’s stopping me from wearing them on repeat.
