It’s National Pizza Day!!
In order to celebrate this very important holiday, we’re tucking in to a pizza feast and sharing some of our favourite binge worthy shows. It’s important to note these shows are ones we both agree on. For my binge worthy picks view this post from last year.
First order your pizza
or pre-heat your oven if you’re cooking your own. Why not try our cauliflower pizza recipe?
Then pick your show.
Our Most Binge Worthy Shows, on Netflix
Who doesn’t love a good conspiracy show centred around the CIA and dirty dealings during war. Action packed and can be slightly graphic.
Science fictions comes to life in a small Indiana town set in the 1980s. Secret governmental experiments, missing children and coverups. You won’t want to stop watching.
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee
Jerry Seinfield “interviews” comedians and shows you some fancy cars but it’s not really about the classic cars. It’s about the ridiculous conversations that happen when comedians are just trying to be normal. Oh and President Obama too!
Follows a teen on the autism spectrum as he searches for love and independence, despite his overbearing and frankly, annoying, mother.
Parks and Recreation
Amy Poehler, enough said.
Zooey Deschanel is hilarious, I love Jess’ character. After a rough breakup she moves in with three single guys and like all classic sitcoms, antics ensue.
Our Most Binge Worthy Shows, on Amazon Prime
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
Set in 1950s, we follow ‘Midge’ as her perfect life falls apart and she’s forced to rebuild. Taking an interesting route as a stand-up comedian. From the writers of Gilmore Girls.
A crime comedy following Shawn and Gus as they help solve cases for the police under the illusion of ‘psychic detectives’ when really Shawn is overly observant and Gus is a pharmaceutical sales rep.
The devil has come to Earth in the City of Angels. Bored of hell, he takes a ‘vacation’ to LA where he overindulges in woman and booze. Lucifer starts consulting with the police using his ‘abilities’ to help solve crime.
Another crime drama, following LA detective Harry Bosch, based on a series of books by Michael Connelly. Show and books are both worth your time. So gripping.
Violent crimes break out in a small Arctic town causing mistrust and terror, not understanding what has been unleashed among from record ice melt. Strange show, leaves you confused but intrigued.
The Grand Tour
The Amazon reboot of Top Gear. I could care less about cars but I love to see all the different places they travel too and they’re all so ridiculous it’s hard not to laugh.
