About Staci & Co

Meet Staci

Hi, y’all! I’m Staci and it’s my goal to leave you feeling like you just hung out with your best friend.

Originally from Pennsylvania, I left the States at 21 and moved to London, England to be with my husband, Rich (although we were only dating at the time)! We’ve been together for more than 10 years and while we don’t always do things the traditional way, they work for us and we love sharing how we’re building our most authentic life together with our two dogs.

I’m a perpetual overthinker and I love to overanalyse. These were excellent traits when completing degrees in Criminology (BA) and International Relations (MA), but not so helpful when I’m trying to get a good nights sleep.

Staci & Co is an online destination for my everyday musing, thoughts to encourage meaningful conversation. I want you to feel confident, empowered and like you just learned something new and you can’t wait to tell your real-life bestie!

[note: while I’ll be covering a few money-related topics, I won’t specifically cover investing. For this, I recommend following FundCalibre where I write a weekly column for millennials about investing.]

Those who know me will know this isn’t my first time blogging.

I started Staci & Co in 2014 under a different name, Lattes & Lipstick, as a way to share my life abroad. It spiralled and I became a writer for my University, took on brand partnerships and blogging became a true side hustle. It was a whirlwind, but it was too much. I closed down Staci & Co in the summer of 2019 to focus on building my professional career in finance.

The pandemic caused life to slow down and I realised something was missing, so I dusted off the cobwebs and got to writing.

Thank you so much for being here and I hope you leave feeling motivated and invigorated.

With love,

Staci

Meet the rest of the team

Rich: the most patient husband there ever was

After putting up with children all day (he’s a math teacher) he comes home and deals with my consistent talking and dogs begging for attention. But it’s true what they say opposites attract: he’s quiet, I’m loud; he’s six feet plus; I’m closer to five feet; he’s spontaneous, I’m a planner. But one thing we always have in common: dogs.

Kendall: the grandma of the group

Long naps and afternoon biscuits are her life. Kendall, a 12-year-old Labrador, moved to the UK with me in 2015 and we’ve travelled together every day since. Kendall’s travelling credentials include three countries, multiple transatlantic flights and leaving her pawprints in over thirty states.

Seeley: the new kid on the block

Adopted in 2020, during the UK’s Covid lockdown, from Bahrain via Wild at Heart Foundation, he’s an estimated 3-year-old and still learning the ropes. Seeley is a very unique mix of 14 breeds (according to Wisdom Panel) including 33% German Shepherd, 27% Anatolian Shepherd and 16% Central Asian Ovcharka.
